
24 Hour Cole Slaw

Ingredients:
14 cups shredded cabbage
1 green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup cooking oil
1 ½ cups sugar
1 Tbls. salt
Instructions:
Mix together cabbage, green pepper and onion. Boil together vinegar, oil, sugar and salt. Put ½ cabbage mixture in bowl. Pour hot juice over, DO NOT STIR. Add remaining cabbage and refrigerate for 1 ½ hours then mix. Put in refrigerator for 24 hours before eating.
