
Chocolate Fudge Upside Down Cake

Ingredients:
BATTER
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons baking
unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
TOPPING
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup baking unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 cup boiling water
Instructions:
Batter: Cream together sugar and butter. Stir in milk. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Mix until smooth; stir in walnuts. Spread in greased 9" square pan.
Topping: Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa together. Sprinkle over the batter. Place pan on oven shelf. Gently pour boiling water over the mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
