Wills and Bequests
Bequests, or naming UWSP as a beneficiary in your will or trust document is the most common form of planned giving.
For many a bequest is a means of making a much larger gift than possible while you may be drawing an income from your investments. Such bequests are exempt from federal or state estate taxes.
Life Income Gifts
You can support UWSP without worrying about having enough income for yourself or your loved ones.
Your life income gifts (such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts) can provide you with an income stream, significant tax savings, and the satisfaction of providing the UWSP with crucial, long-term resources.

Sample language to use in an Obituary in support of UWSP.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of XXX to XXXX Fund at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Foundation. Please make checks payable to UWSP Foundation, Inc. and mail to UWSP Foundation, Inc. 2100 Main Street, 134 Old Main Stevens Point, WI 54481. Or, if no fund is designed:
