Women's Basketball
As we approach the start of the 2024-25 UWSP WBB Season we would like to thank you for the loyalty, support, and energy that you’ve invested into Pointer Women's Basketball. We are committed to providing a first-class experience for our student-athletes and refuse to let our program be defined by a roman numeral. This margin of excellence would not be possible without the generosity of people like you!
Our program strives to represent greatness in the classroom and community as well as in competition. We earned a team GPA of 3.77 in the Fall semester and strived to be active in our local community. This past season we traveled to Florida for the St. Pete Classic and scheduled exhibition games against NCAA Division I & II programs! We couldn’t be more excited about next year as we will open our season Tuesday, October 29th at the Kohl Center and for the second time in program history compete against a Power 5 opponent in the University of Wisconsin! We are also planning a trip to Nashville, Tennessee for a tournament this December.
We are excited about the progress we have made and the direction we are headed as a team going into Year 3. As we press on, our focus will remain consistent: celebrate where we’ve come from, embrace where we are, and look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
